Improvements using voip in EVDO RevA?

Can somebody pls answer what are the improvements over the previous standard allowed using of voip in EVDO RevA?

This is the list of features:
1)Multi-Flow Packet App (EMPA) which provides the mechanisms for the
network to assign separate Radio Link Protocol (RLP) instances per flow
to a single user. EMPA is a feature of Rev. A that differentiates flows,
allowing Quality of Service (QoS).
2)Robust Header Compression (RoHC) - decrease ip header
3)FL Multiple Packet Size Support
