OL not taking any call

dear all,
In my networl OL not taking any call,so high drop observed.
in UL 900 band,in OL 1800 band used.what will be the reason??

Is the first BTS in Dual Band Mode???

I am interested to know whether this problem is spread network wide or on some few cells?

But again if no traffic is picked how would there be any dropped calls?

Please provide more details so your problem can be well understood and working solutions be given out.

Hi,
In some cases assignment failure observered & when i blocked 1800 TRX then SD & TCH drops came under control,but some case i couldn't find out root cause??

Hi,

Do you mean that there's no traffic at all on 1800? If yes, please let the Field engineer reset the DXU of the 1800 RBS. There might be a synchronization problem on the TG. Let hi check also the OVP connection. The termination from DXU-OVP should be connected to 100-120ohm balanced OVP.


Parameter wise, please also check FBOFFSP, don't set this too high..recommended is between 3 to 6.
