Dear WFA E/// experts,
I just want to ask expert advice from all of you regarding the drops we are experiencing in our network lately. The drops/disconnection we are experiencing are random. we simulate a SPOT data collection using TEMS and below are the details.
TEMS phone placed under a good coverage spot(500m from site)
300s dedicated and 10 sec idle(there was no significant degradation in RXlev and RXqual).
Rxlevsub is between -65 to 70dBm
Rxqualsub is constantly 0
40 call sets are generated and found 2 drops. CC cause value "Abnormal Network: Temporary Failure"
Power Cntrol and DTX activated on UL and DL.
This happens in GSM1800 band.
No alarms on the cell.
I can say that our GSM1800 Band is still ok. Drops due to BAD quality is very low compared to drops due to sudden lost and other causes.
Guys is you have experienced this on your network please advice me where to start the investigation. I'm having a doubt that this is not on the radio site but on the BSC-abis side. My doubt may still be wrong so maybe you could all help me..
