Starting a service terminal session
Depending on the type of the computer unit a service terminal session can be
opened in different ways.
You have the following options:

Connect a VDU physically to a computer unit using the service terminal


connectors. All units may not have service terminal connectors. See the


following steps for instructions.



Remote service terminal session using MML terminal (only DMX units).


Start a remote service terminal session using the



DDS MML command.


This command can only be used to open a service terminal session to


computer units that have DMX operating system (such units are, for

example, OMU, SFU, MXU, and NIS1). See
