Can sombady help me with the following clarification

According to HSUPA category definitions, UE can achieve 5.74 Mbps for 2 ms TTI with 2*SF2+2*SF4 code channels.
But to have this speed you have to configure SRB over HSPA.
Can you tell me what uplink throughput can be reach without SRB over HSPA?

Thank in advance!

hi Vir2

The HSUPA L1 throughput is 5.76Mbps , it is dependent on the channel quality and the UL data in Buffer of UE , Grants available etc.

I am not sure whether you question is about HSPA+ or no. 3GPP R7 allowed 16 QAM for HSUPA in UL , which because of module has increased the data rates to 2x5.76

hope it help

No,the question was about availability of the dpdch channels.
If you configure more than 2 e-dpdch channels it means no possibility to have even one dpdch channel. Then also it depends on ue category if it supports sf2 or not:2*sf2 gives 3.84 or 2*sf4=1.92

Hi Mctest
Indeed there is no problem with channels and codes.

If you have 2*SF2+2*SF4 you achieve exactly 5.76Mbit= 2x960kbits+2x1920kbits.
And you have free 2xSF4 code tree branches, for any type of service (data or voice) that you can distribute along the spare branches. This is because there are I and Q modulation branches.

My question was, what uplink throughput can be reach without SRB over HSPA?

Once again:according to the spec there are existing 3 configuration:
1:6xDPDCH Channels+1 DPCCH Channel (No HSUPA)
2:1xDPDCH Channel+1xDPCCH+2xE-DPDCH(HSUPA with 2xSF2 or 2xSF4 it depends on UE category.)+1xHS-PDCCH+1xE-DPCCH.
3:0xDPDCH Channel+1xDPCCH+4xE-DPDCH(HSUPA with 2xSF2+2xSF4) 1xHS-PDCCH+1xE-DPCCH

For SRB on DCH you should have at least one DPDCH,see conf2.And max speed at L1 level as I mentioned below.
For SRB on HSPA you can use conf3.
