Dear,
I have plotted my site data on mapinfo.Now i have an excel file containing some lat & long.I want to select these lat long on my existing site data plot in mapinfo with different colour.How can i do it.

now i need to select the points(lat long) in the already plotted sites but in the previous post i have to plot new points.

I donno if you can update the lat long in your existing site tab, but you can create new tab for the excel sheet you have and then you can just select the color.....:rolleyes:

YOU CAN SELECT IT BY THE USING THE SELECT OPTION THERE.....

If you want to select just points from your created points, you can use the Symbol in the Drawing toolbar, The Thumbpin symbol indicates the Symbol, you can just customize the symbol just as your created symbol in the Symbol Style and used it to plot your selected points. After that you can also use the Text if you have labels. After plotting your selected points, in your layer control, remove the layer of your created previous points. Your plotted and selected points right now will remain.

i want to select some sites already plotted in mapinfo using some lat long contained in a file.
