How to get call records from Siemens MSC or HLR

Hello all, sorry if this is stupid question.

I'm trying to analyze call records (CDRs or mobile call detail events) from the network, and I'm thinking I can get that data from the Siemens MSC ?

Can you tell me if this is possible, and which files on the MSC or HLR can provide me this information.

Also, if you any documentation for the MSC and HLR please share :D
