Why can't I open tables created with mapinfo 9.5 with the new mapinfo 10

Make sure all the file type are present.

that will enable the table to open maybe one of the file type is missing.

Maybe you created workspace then move to other place or copy it from other place on another computer. So that, when you open that workspace it can not find table file and data. Please open direct *.tab file.
