Hi!
I just joined, so here is description on my findings:
As there is no WFA FAQ, describing why WFA forums exists and local rules, here are some hints
from newby to junior members.
WFA is nice forum. It started in 汉语 a while ago, and opened up to WW audience.
There is a lot of people who work with radio side of mobile networks: vendors, R&D, operators.
Maybe some lower castes as well: consultatnts, academia, core network people etc.
After you join, you have to hang around for a while. Read forums, browse....
You need to get promoted to Member fast by:
- posting 10 messages
- waiting 3 days
DO NOT TRY TO DOWNLOAD as junior member
First, your credits are gone (5 per download) and you can not access files.
Keep your initial 100 credits!
After you become full member, then you start collecting credits:
- each post brings you a credit
- each download cost you 5 credits
- each upload brings you credits.
When uploading: tell us about. What is inside, year of issue etc.
I noticed there is a market with reputation as well, but I have not figured out what it is all about.
maybe somebody can write more complete guide on reputation and credits?
