Hi all

Every time I get a case that a nodeB has its service degraded due to loss of synchronization, I almost have a headache. Usually I search for transmission problems, like a low RX in a microwave link or something like that, but with a low RX in a microwave link it's normal that I got SE, SES or BBE in the node.. but most of the times I got the TRS PM (transmission performance monitoring) clean.. with no SES, ES or even BBE. In this cases, what could be the problem?

Normally, what do you guys search for to solve this problem?

Also... Can you explain to me this board?
This is the tool that NodeB from NSN uses for tuning the clock manually.

This is the tool to manual retune your master clock (Iub/Transmission).

It has to be - Normal , Difference PPM = 0
If there is a difference between master clock and reference clock then you will not see value 0. It will be something like -2.8, -4.8 etc. This will tell u the delay in synchronization.

Like this one..

But how can I re-tune it? How can I read the Difference PPM and apply a New DAC Word to retune it?
And what problems could be in the origin of a delay in synchronization?

Cheers
