Default How to check missing neighbours cells in GSM by U2000

    Dear all,

Please tell me how to check missing neighbours cells in GSM by U2000??

As u might know, UE can measure 6 cells at MAX in GSM
From U2000, which counter we can use to detect missign neighbours?
Which command for display list neighbours of a cell?

    Thanks

Even in GSM CHR, I haven't seen any missing neig data.

Commercial tools are finding missing neig from locations, azimuth and antenna height, prediction etc. For your case, if the network is umts+gsm, another method could be using same direction co-located umts cell handover data. Umts missing neighbors are reported in CHR data. This data is used to maintain umts neig plan.

You may use simple excel sheet to find best neighbors of umts cells based on handovers and convert umts names to co-located gsm cells and compare with existing gsm neig list.

nastar (if operator have) can help to find missing neigbors but you need to check on the map at the same time.

method 1 : You Can export interference Matrix From MR data , then check the cells having high BCCH overlapping but not neighbors you can then add them based on priority and distance.
method 2 (easy): Export Directly missing Neighnors from Nastar , Make sure the operator has it and the data is collected automatically.
