Hello all!
I have a MTH800 which have AirTracer activated, I did all the steps you say in all the different topics, I installed ******** Scout 8.10.29 with Mutlikey and the specials RegKeys but the software doest not reconize the radio when pluged to the USB dongle. I only want to detect it on RS232 instead it's an USB port!
My dongle is Ok cause I write a lot of times on CPS Plus Depot.
But when the radio is powered on and authenticated to the network, when plugged into the USB, my Windows does not play the song like an new USB port is connected.
I don't know if the problem is coming the codeplug (like remote programming) or software (.z19 file) or from my PC.

Scout only works with a RS232 Datacable, NOT a USB Cable.

Thanks nintrew but I talked about a software solution, i prefer to order a special RS232 cable by internet as to modify my usb cable.

no, this is not possible. the radio acts differently in flash mode with the 2 cables.

i had to buy a serial data cable some days ago, because i corrupted the flash of my radio - after recovering, i tried scout and it worked perfectly
