    Summary
    Frequency-dependent features of signal transmission performance in several radio propagation environments characteristic of macrocellular radio networks are evaluated. Frequency bands of specific interest are 700 MHz and 2,500 MHz (2.5 GHz). The objective of the study is to analyze technical aspects of propagation behaviour in cluttered environments, in order to permit general observations regarding the relative merits of these frequency bands with respect to area coverage.

    Here is the documentation from a Small Cell Coverage proposal . No plots or details of the tool are included, but the rest of the details and document structure are there. Raw doc files, link budget xls and drawings attached as well as a single pdf of the work so far.

    SMALL CELL COVERAGE PROPOSAL
    A survey of the target area was conducted in Aug, 2013. During the survey, the details of the expansion antenna locations for optimum coverage as well as possible feeder cable routings were identified. The resultsof the survey are presented in the form of an engineering proposal.

    This document serves to inform the building owner and govenrment on the technical aspects of the proposed small cell distribution system.The engineering proposal will include the following:
    Trunking Diagram – Overall schematic of the antenna distribution system.
    Floor Plan – Indicates proposed cable routings and antenna locations.
    M&E Support – The required mechanical and electrical support.
    Transmission Plan – Documentation for transmission requirement.
    Material List – Indicates the types and quantity of installation materials used.
    Technical Aspects – Technical specifications of materials used.

    A report on estimating the spectrum for the 2014 Commonwealth Games by Analysys Mason.
    Spectrum demand grouped into:


    • private business radio (PBR) – also referred to as private mobile radio (PMR). In the remainder of this report, we refer to this as PBR
    • wireless microphones and in-ear monitors
    • temporary audio links
    • outside broadcast talkback
    • telemetry (e.g. camera control)
    • wireless cameras, including airborne links
    • video links – including temporary (portable) point-to-point links that might be deployed at certain locations or sporting events, and microwave links that might be used to provide connection from venues (in lieu of fibre)
    • satellite news gathering.


    Based on Surveys, calculations using ATDI ICS Telecom and demand from similar events (e.g. the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games).
    Link budget used for frequency re-use analysis suitable for MPT1327 or DMR system included in Appendix B
