Splitter/Coupler
What is the most common type of Splitter/Coupler used? Is it cavity type or microstrip? What particular situation each type can be used?

Hi bro,
According to my opinion:
+ Coupler is divide unit not balance between outputs signal, it depend on loss level of the equiepment. Ex: 6dBm couple, 8dBm....Which is application in In_buiding solution and it has function splitter between branch and major of signal.
+ Splitter is divide unit blance between outputs signal. it also denpend on loss level of the equipment. Ex: 3dBm, 7dBm..Which is apppication in In_building solution. it has function splitter branches of signal.

I know their applications. My concern is when is cavity type splitter/coupler or microstrip type splitter/coupler be used?
