    Default Speech Quality Test

    Hello,

Can anybody please provide information on the best test used to get the true speech quality in a GSM network. I know E/// uses a technology called PESQ. But I'm looking for other manufacturers technology to make a comparism.

Product names will be nice too.

    Many thanks!

ITU-T P.862.1 (PESQ) is standardised speech quality algorithm and is used for all tool vendors, NEMO, Ascom, Swissqual, Couei, etc

If you require obtaining MOS scores and don't mind that the approach is not an ITU standard then check this:

    Intrusive voice quality testing: http://www.sevana.fi/voice_quality_t...t_analysis.php

    Non-intrusive voice quality testing: http://www.sevana.fi/non-intrusive-v...g-software.php

    %, MOS-like, PESQ-like scores, no royalties
