Default Huawei rewrite a record for GSM/EDGE speeds

    hi check below
Huawei today announced that it has rewritten a new record for the 2G network data rate, averaging up to 564Kb/s, adopting the advanced EDGE+ technology in a downlink dual carrier (DLDC) test recently enhanced from the EDGE. This record speed, two times faster than that of the existing EDGE network, the same level of the earlier 3G network, enables the users of 2G network to experience the typical 3G network, such as high-speed mobile data services including live video broadcast.

EDGE (Enhanced Data Rate for GSM Evolution) technology significantly improves user experience through faster data rate, better quality of service and lower latency of network. In the near future, most of the existing 3G network business could obtain favorable supporting from the EDGE network.

President of Huawei’s GSM/WCDMA product line, He Gang commented, “The rewriting of the EDGE rate this time demonstrates Huawei’s commitment driving the evolution of GSM, the most widely deployed technical standard with most of the mobile users in the world. Huawei’s advanced EDGE+ technology enhances flexibility for operators building their 3G networks and provides a seamless high-speed data service experience. ”

The operators’ existing EDGE network could be smoothly and economical updated to Huawei’s EDGE+ through the updating of software. Huawei’s EDGE+ technology provides a seamless high speed data service experience for operators making full use of the existing GSM frequency range, effectively making up the data service fracture between HSPA+/LTE and GSM and guaranteeing the continuity and availability of the mobile data service

instead of using one frequency for data system can give to 2 frequency and so both frequency can give you up to 560kbit/s by 5 TS in DL
