BSC KPI from Cells KPI

Friends, I have problem in my Stats tool, consequently I just have cells KPI values and I want know how to calculate the KPI vlaues for the whole BSC

Do you have any idea about how to do that in accuarte way?

Ex: I have all the values of 'CDR, TCHLoss, CSR' of the cells of BSC01
Now I want to calculate the KPI values but for BSC01

You must know the expression of your KPI absolutely necessary for instance,
I take the case of CDR:

Let us imagine that BSC includes 3 cells only

CDR(cell1)= call_success_cell1 / total_call_cell1
CDR(cell2)= call_success_cell2 / total_call_cell2
CDR(cell3)= call_success_cell3 / total_call_cell3

For calculate CDR (BSC):
CDR(BSC)= [call_success_cell1+call_success_cell2+call_success_cell3] / [total_call_cell1+total_call_cell2+total_call_cell3]

there are Counters for BSC Level Statistics an also for cell level
all KPI are related to Cell Statistics or Cell Relation Statistics except CP Load on Average,Number of paging messages in BSC,and
Discarded Paging Mess due to Paging Congestion of all Pages are related to BSC level.
so if you want to calculate KPI in busy hour how it is possible and you know each site has its own busy hour ?
if you work on E/// equipment from Alex doc you can find STS formulat for KPI.

Dear friend,

I have some experience with this problem

-Define KPI formulas by counter.

-Get all counter from system.

-Use a database management system like Access or SQL.... creat some

queries to caculate KPI that you want.

-With BSC, MSC or Vendor level, you sum all counter and caculate by

formulas.

Now I have the KPI for all BSCs but the KPI is not good, so we want to remove bad cells that degrade the KPI then recalculate the KPI to

Now the question:
what's the best methodology to do this task?

- check cells KPI and remove worst cells
- or check Raido Commander alarms then remove that cells with alarms

what's the best methodology from the accuracy and time point of view

you are right my friend that each site has its' own Busy Hour...so do you know how stats softwares calculate the busy hour for each BSC?

for KPI we use counters on BSC level
for TROUBLESHOOTING ,and for deep investigation we prefere counter ie STS on cell level.

so if you want to calculate KPI in busy hour how it is possible and you know each site has its own busy hour ?

excuse me my friend, as I get confused, if I have big problems in BSC at BH 11:00
so I check the cells performance at 11:00 or at it's own BH

Experts, do you have an explanations for this issue:
I have checked the KPI for one BSC at the busy Hour
it; was so bad

so I exported the radio commander alarms for this BSC at the same busy hour
then I have removed these cells with radio commander (critical + major) alarms

then I have rechecked the BSC KPI again after removing these cells with alarms but no big enhancement, we can say that the change is trivial

so what's going on? can you explain to me?
