Call Answer Seizure Ratio & Call Completion Rate For Interconnected Networks

Hi All,

Can someone please provide background information on how Call Answer Seizure Ratio & Call Completion Rate is improved between interconnected networks.

1) For example what factors/issues will cause a low ASR & CCR between networks????

2) Does SDCCH & TCH congestion contribute as well to low percentage for ASR & CCR????

3) Does paging success also affect this figures???


Any help regarding this will be very much appreciated...

Call completion rate is preceding Answer Seizure Rate so if there are problem in phase of CCR there will be Low ASR so what you need to check are
1- Is there problem in call setup success rate.
2- Is there high call drop rate
so when you improve both mentioned causes you may found the problem

For Call Completion Rate between networks you may want to look at Call gaping (most especially if its occurring between fierce competitors).
