SDS Remote Control
Hi,
I have an MTM5400 running with a working PEI interface (I've already figured out how to send/receive sds messages and status with AT commands).
I've referenced the following document: https://www.etsi.org/deliver/etsi_en...05v020200o.pdf
Now I wanna try to control a few MTP850s remotely, but that document doesn't really mention sds remote control.
I've already tried looking on google for a way to do this, but no luck so far.
Is there anyone that knows how this works?
I've already enabled SDS remote control feature on the MTM5400(+ set controlling radio flag to true) and MTP850.

Re: SDS Remote Control
Hello, you had to activate the point 3 "Controlling MT" in your MTM5400 under Data services -> Remote control
Controlled MT must be active for the device that is to be controlled. In addition, you must enter the ISSI of the device you want to control under Authorized ISSIs. Under SDS remote control service, you can set item 7 "Supported AT commands" from "Limited" to "Full".

Do your research. It's all in ETSI papers. SDS-TL etc.

Re: SDS Remote Control
Afaik there's no compiled manual. But info can be gathered from ETSI docs and some mtm800 pdfs I think.

Re: SDS Remote Control
Ok.
Step 1. Activate remote control and add autorized issi in cps
Step 2. How send control commands? By sds from another radio?

Re: SDS Remote Control
Maybe this picture will be helpful. The syntax of AT command to send SDS. Change protocol identifier to SDS REMOTE CTRL one and making some corrections. But this is AT command.
It's still unknown about syntax of SDS mesaage to send to radio, which you want control.
Investigated that as well, but no result. No information in public internet.
Logical that it should mean to be possible to CHANGE a protocol ID in RADIO, from which you will send SDS remote control message.
Still no clue...
