So I have identify my radio has rare development FW in it. What is the process to update FW in a MTM 700?

You need DEPOT CPS with LAB functions plus FW pack, then need to create codeplug that is compatible with this FW, edit all details in codeplug according to your radio, and then upgrade and program codeplug.

Hi Gabor, my friend.

This is the CPS i sent some 15 years ago to one of my friends.

He later gave it to some of his friends, and it went viral back then.

Even today, some people are selling it as LAB version.

Howver, it is far from LAB or DEPOT version, i just edited some files so it shows some menu items visible, but they do nothing.

What He needs is: R7B.398.01

This is the real Depot/Lab version

i got this file several years ago from Great Britain.
Now i'm checked on the russian site too, they have only R7A, no R7B version found there.
