    Default Sepura Remote UI

    Hi all,

I have a problem with the Sepura Remote UI (Version 10.14).
My STP9040 is powered on. Then I connect the cable to the device and the PC.
Then I start the software and get a white background with blue writing "sepura" displayed.
I don't know what it is about soft key 5 to put the device into "display invert".
Unfortunately, the display of the device does not appear on the PC. (The right comport is selected!)

    Please help me.

    Thanks in advance!

Check active COM port in your computer setting. Enable this active COM port (number) in the UI tool.

Detailed user manual for the UI tool:
    --------------------------------------------

Duplicates the radio display on a PC using a data cable.

Before you use the software, check that you have:

. A radio which has softkey 5 configured as “display invert”
. A data cable connecting the PC to the radio

If your data cable is connected to any COM port other than COM1 then you must
tell the program by choosing the correct port from the Comm Port menu.

You should notice the screen of the radio invert and then go back to normal.
The window on the PC should now mimic the radio screen.

    Supported key combinations:
    ----------------------------------

Alt+Enter switches between window and full-screen

'0'-'9', '*', '#', Up, Down, Left Right act as radio keys

    Enter, Ins Send (Green key)
    Esc, Del Clear (Red key)

    Space PTT

    Ctrl+Space Latching PTT

    Home, 'M' Mode button

    PgUp, PdDn Rotary control

F1-F4 Loads alternate palette files (in installed directory)
These are plain text files which may be editted

    F11 Sends *435 sequence

F12 Toggles Cyrillic display for pre-v5 software

    Ctrl+Shift+F12
    Zeroise function (**00##)

'A' Toggles true LCD aspect ratio display correction

's' Saves screenshot bitmap with true aspect ratio in the default
directory (normally the installed directory) in the format
screenshot-YYYYMMDD-NNN.bmp where NNN increments from 001.

'S' Saves screenshot bitmap without aspect ratio correction

    Mouse control:
    -----------------

    Left button PTT
    Right button Mode button
    Mouse wheel Rotary control
Extra side buttons Send & Clear

    Thank you for your feedback.
The correct COM port is selected. Unfortunately, the screen from the radio still does not appear.
I don't know if I have to press 5 on the radio first. But also when pressing 5 on the radio nothing happens, can it be that the device is not programmed appropriately?

There are 2 options in radio (not sure if it's enabled by default):
    One Virtual console
    Second Virtual console

Do I have to pay attention to anything else on the switched on radio after connecting with the software and the correct COM port selection?
