Appears to be working OK for me now, using the Propagation installer Hong Lim has updated here http://www.finetopix.com/showthread....l=1#post157345 , I installed the Propagation model, re-ran the licence application (not sure if I needed to do this but did it anyway), and everything boots up fine now. I can run the propagation analysis using the demo projects.

I am using Win XP, I don't know if it will work for Win 7, maybe you have to install on virtual Win XP on top of Win 7 to get it running, or use a Win XP PC. My installation procedure for Win XP is attached.

Hi bro,
I installed WinXP SP3!
Step by step install:
1. Install NET Framework 1.1 and 2.0
2. Install Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 2.0 (x86).
3. Install rf-vu Pro 4.0.msi
4. Install RF-Propagation.msi
5. Copy all file in "Pack folder" to "...\Program Files\iBwave\RF-vu" then run file "RFVU.exe", if display appear: "*****...OK" ==> Successful

Hello All,

I just tried it on win XP again and this time it works. The missing part was the Rf-propagation.msi causing the failure. Now it works all fine just like hong lim and stantheman said. Thanks to you guys for the valuable efforts with special mention to hong lim for sharing the soft.

At link below, you can download components database for different versions of the software. Good to know that databases are not compatible between them and as such better download the right version.
Version 4 database is available for free at link below.

to import the components, open the data base editor DBEditor.exe , go "file" - "import" , and browse to all the .vex files you downloaded, highlight all the .vex files you want to import, click open, and then you will have to OK each .vex set of components to be imported. Leave out "r&d microwaves - All Components - 20071101.vex" as this appears to be corrupt and stopped the importation of the rest of the files for me.
