    hi all
    when we use TEMS for scanning frequency, what is kind of frequency we need to scan ?
    I mean that may frequency contain BCCH is used for scanning ?

    For the scanning normally putting all frequencies for your operator, but if you want to scan how are BCCHs serving ( overshooting for example) you have also to put BSIC.

    what are scanning aims ? we scanning frequency for what ?

    We can expect to find BCCH clash with scanning... with scanning we see the signal level of all the scanned frequencies... in a particular case if we find two BCCH freq in scanning mode , we take it as BCCH clash....further it can also b seen to find the overshooting site....Hope it helps....
