    Default CSFB to 2G ?

    Dears,

what is the average Call setup time to CSFB to 2G ?
Why it takes more time compared to CSFB to 3G ?

For my case Huawei Nework, it takes 1s to go from 4G to 2G (RRc ConnectionRelease message) but up to 15s to reach CC Alerting in 2G !!

    Any suggestions

Hi Agenov, Yes I don't see the location update procedure in the log, knowing that The TAC/LAC mapping in the core is done with 3G LAC.

How to overcome this problem ?

You dont see Location Update but i can and that's the reason. can not be avoided , just try to reduce the csfb toward 2G as much, you can play with thresholds, the way of CSFB perform in terms of target technology, even change the 4G coverage so to fit 3G and so on...
