Hello Simsim,

1- if you want to get serial for SLM 8.0.6 installation, search for Slmvidsn in the forum , after downloading it run the exe file, put your required VID in the window
it will gave you 2 serial, use the 2nd one (this is SDK Developers serial) in the SLM installation

2- Now the problem means that you didnt install the emu correctly, you need to:
a- install sentinel service (by going to service folder in SSP) and running install.bat
b- go to dll folder and copy the 2 dlls into system32 folder
c- go to samplereg file folder and copy .toro file into system32 folder
d- edit .toro file using a hexeditor or ultraedit to your required VID
details on how to edit is here in this topic
e- run wlscgen 8.0.6, it will work

I'm not sure I got your question correctly, but I believe you are asking how to get the VID for your software.

Easiest way that someone tell you about it
Or second to have a license either working or expired for your target software, decode it using slmdec or lsdecode and you will know the VID

hardest way to debug your software and search for this VID

BTW VID in the picture you posted is 0A70, it is written into the emu like the way you posted it 70 0A, so this is the correct way to hardcode a VID into your emu

that is not a virus,If u cant trust,dont use exe.open text file in wordpad and search for ur vendor ID,u can see right serial no in opposite of ur vendoe ID.

sdk 8.0 and emulator is available here and it is backward compatibility.
Then y u r fighting with wlscgen 7.1
