    Default Event A2 and A1 ??

    Dears,

it’s clear that Event A2 will trigger the GAP measurement when reported.

However, I am confused about how the UE will exit the GAP measurement if the serving cell is getting better. Is that by:

    - Leaving A2 condition: Ms - Hys > A3InterFreqHoA2ThdRsrp

    Or

    - Entering A1 condition: Ms - Hys > A3InterFreqHoA1ThdRsrp

I just don't see why we have 2 different parameter one for stopping A2 and another for starting A1 ! normally stopping A2 is by reporting A1 event

As per my understanding there is not GAP measurement in Intra-Freq NBR measurement ? can anyone please correct if it is right?

You have two thresholds as specified by 3GPP , one for entering compressed mode , so start measuring target Inter-Freq cells when the radio is getting worse and the other one for stop measuring when the radio conditions are becoming good enough.
A2 is for starting and A1 is for leaving.

    what is not clear?
