Lightbulb LTE Throughput Improvement - High Order Modulation (dl 256qam)

    Hi friends,

I'm testing in my network the feature dl 256qam. So far everything seems fine, related counters are showing data and from a LTE virtual UE trace I confirmed it, however this validation procedure doesn't satisfy me as an engineer.

Do you some (free) software or android App that I can use in order to check in real time the current modulation scheme in use?

As I'm currently using my production apn (and has a speed limitation) I haven't yet validated the peak speeds achievable (20Mhz carrier/ prototype Xperia phone provided by the manufacturer). After everything is tested I'll share the results...

    Bro

you can try "網路信號大師 Network Signal Guru " app,it can show modulation and something else. However your UE must be qualcomm chip based and root required.

Or you can try NEMO 、TEMS or other DT tool

if you using NEMO for test , 7.6.1 or later version should be used .

Sorry , i search and find no test result for windows phone.

According to the description in the Google play, i guess it should be for android phone only.

the english name is : Network Signal Guru

If you are interested in checking modulation used by your test connection, try this. In U2000, go to Monitor>>Signaling Trace>>Signaling Trace Management>>MCS Count Monitoring. Once you get the MCS values for your connections from the graph, you can check MCS table in 36.211.

    Hi,

For E******* vendor also through BB trace that can be found . MCS along wtih BLER ratio for each branch will be available for further analysis
