Features to Improve LTE Throughput

it depends on vendor, they might have different names and also some could be hidden parameters so it is better that you check the vendors' documents which you are using but anyway here some from E*******:


if you have inter-frequency, IRAT HO, then some parameter setting may help to improve the throughput ( for example you can change measurement Gap) measGapPeriodTraffic can be increased from 40 ms to 80 ms
For DL you can change the offset of reporting of CQI: nomPDSCH-RS-EPRE-Offset can be increased
you can change RS gain when you are using MIMO: crsgain can be set to 3 dB
you can change the offset between PDCCH and PDSCH SINR: pdcchLaGinrMargin can be reduced

my opinion for 10 MHZ and MIMO you should have better throughput... Are you sure 64QAM is activated ??
Generally speaking Statistics is not a good way to see the throughput as user activities and profile will impact on throughput So using Drive test is a better option
from DT you can see number of allocated PRBs , MIMO and 64QAM allocation

Very important point: from HSS user profile can be limited for example user can have maximum 8 Mbits in DL and UL while in LTE user throughput can go up to 300 Mbits depending on bandwidth

it is also important to check QOS profiles in enodeB and TN network

if you see low throughput , it doesn't mean all the time the issue is on air interface and radio part So you need to locate and limit the issue to specific area So doing a DT in good radio condition with a simcard with no limitation on throughput , may help. even it can be done at night during low load period

You have user performance monitoring from signaling trace management in U2000 and can see info about your connection live when doing the test.

check the commnad STR UUDATATST.
you can do an Uu test to see how capacity does your radio side have and you can identify easily the transmission problems or limitations, also don't forget to check the interference counters.
DSP UEONLINEINFO will give you the UEs.

even with 10Mhz that throughput is low IMO if it isn't in a fully utilized network.
