Cut a part of big logfile in scanner mode, TI 16 !

Dear friends
Do you know how to split/cut big logfile in Tems 16 , Scanner mode to small log ?
I used Route utility for cutting by time span, however, in Scanner mode the results log will be disappear most important information when reading
Tks a lot for your help
And about cutting by region, pls help how to make region to cut ?
