    Okay, got it, thanks.

Also, I don't have cable or schematics. But I know, that console radios requires some rear plug (DB9 or DB15 - something like this) to enter Programming mode.

    It is a simple RS232 serial cable. Pins are 2 - 3, 3 - 2 and 5 - 5.
    DB9 connectors, male to female.

    Excellent! Thanks!

But how about rear plug for Console radio? Do you know how it works, which port must be used and wiring or plug? Cable will not work w/o plug.

PEI stands for Peripheral Equipment Interface.
So, it should be PEI1 or PEI2.
I can upload good manuals when I'm back home next week.
Please indicate if you need these manuals by clicking reputation to that post.

Repuration already added, can't add more, board forces to have some pause before I will be able to add more.

So, I need them. Please upload. No rushing here.

    Thanks in advance.

Thank you much buddy. But unfortunately, these manuals has nothing on rear programming plug. With no plug, radio will not go to programming mode. But anyway it's better than nothing.

I can try to disasseble the cable for you, but how you will bypass USB dongle? I talked with a few expirienced hackers and they told me the same thing - crack cost is from $500 to $1000. App code is encrypted and you can't even run it with no dondle. No way to patch just a few jumps in code.

    Hi AnRegs,
There is no plug or any other hardware required for programming FC3000 radio. All you need are:
    1. Selex PRP software
    2. USB dongle to run that software (or its virtual equivalent)
    3. Firmware and config codeplugs (i.e. files on your computer to program firmware version and configuration)
    4. RS232 cable
When you connect PC serial port to FC3000 by RS232 cable, run the PRP software, login and select (or prepare) configuration via PRP GUI.
Then you need to go to Radio Programming menu - read Page 145 of the PRP 1078XB UG (Puma-T3).pdf manual.
Press SELECT button in the relevant COM port number and press CONNECT.
Front panel of the FC3000 radio will change the normal screen to the programming mode.
Read the manual further on how to load firmware and data files.
