    Default Question about Kathrein Antenna

    Dear Expert

I have some questions about these Kathrein Antenna models (80010764V01, 80010765V01, 80010766V01).

I have checked their specification in Antenna datasheet, and I have noted that their frequency range is 1710 – 1755 MHz, 2110 – 2170 MHz, and 1850 – 1990 MHz.

    1. Does these three models support LTE frequency Band 3 (Uplink (MHz):1710 – 1785, Downlink (MHz):1805 -1880)?
    2. As it’s shown in their Datasheet, it will not work on LTE Band 3. Am I right or wrong?

Dear, Hamody 2005! All antennas work in the frequency ranges: 1. 80010764V01 - 698-894 MHz,
1710-2200 MHz; 2. 80010765V01 - 698-894 MHz; 1695-2170 MHz, 3. 80010766V01 698-894 MHz 1710-2170 MHz. Two antennas: 80010764V01 and 80010766V01 - supported frequency bands UMTS 2100, DCS 1800 and LTE 1800+. Antenna 80010765V01 - supported frequency bands UMTS 2100, DCS 1800, LTE 1800+ - band 3, LTE 1600l - band 24. The Appendix contains specifications, view them. LTE band 3 is a plot of frequencies in the band (Uplink (MHz):1710 – 1785, Downlink (MHz):1805 -1880). Summary: these antennas Kathrein is suitable for you to use for LTE band 3. Features: antenna 80010765V01 - 698-894 MHz; 1695-2170 MHz frequency works with 1695 MHz. This is for the LTE frequency bands 24. In Appendix table the frequency plots. Respectfully, Slava 121.

    Thanks Mr. Salva 121

But when i checked the antenna data sheet, I get confused when i saw only information for the range 170-1755 MHz, 1850-1990MHz, and 2110 – 2170 MHz.
and i thought these antenna only suitable for AWS band (1710 to 1755 MHz for uplink, and from 2110 to 2155 MHz for downlink).

see the picture. red shows the frequency band. the yellow band and below the value of the antenna gain in this band. the meaning 1710-1755 MHz, 1850-1990MHz, and 2110 – 2170 MHz to show the change of the antenna gain in the frequency band. this increased uneven. the antenna operates in the band 1710 - 2200.
