    Default power control GPRS

Hey experts have a query as downlink power control is disabled in GPRS and if MS is camped on a specific frequency that frequency would transmit at full power so would is affect CS services i mean Call Drop Rate by increasing interference in RF Enviornment. would add rep to any good detailed answer. Thanks

definately it will increase noise floor. but as you kno data transminssion is bursty in nature so its effect is not much severe on CS services.

    hope u got the point..

thanks man but still as u rightly put data is bursty in nature (correct me if i m wrong) but if TBF is established assigned frequency would keep on transmitting at full power sending both dummy bursts and data bursts and that would effect noise floor.....
