RTWP -95 dBm
Hello Everyone,
If I have -95dBm RTWP value on a cell serving DAS system, what could be the problem?

Hi,
What vendor do you work? make a PIM testing, also check if there is high load on HSUPA users

@jenriqp, what do you mean high load? Simultaneous users, data rates?? What is the definition of high load?

Hi,
I refer to SImultaneous users over HSUPA (high noise for uplink) , thats increases RTWP . There are cases where its better HSUPA deactived.

Re: RTWP -95 dBm
You can check the hourly stats also whether the RTWP is high in low traffic hours (less no of Users) also. If it is not, then you can correlate it with the no of users, else it can be Feeder/Connector/Interference issue.

Re: RTWP -95 dBm
if there are two carriers 3G on 2100 and 5MHz on LTE will that be the cause of the RTWP, since all of them are on the 2100 band?

Re: RTWP -95 dBm
Yes intermodulation can be a cause if same antenna being used. U can try to switch off the other carriers for 1-2 hours and study the impact.

but intermodulation didn't happens with carriers on the same band? right?

Re: RTWP -95 dBm
1.Do a quick check for any hardware related issues: jumber, antenna, connectors etc
2. Check to make sure it is not due to high users.. confirm the values during offpeak period.
3. Check scan for interference from external source
