LTE RA contention resolution on PDCCH

Hello all,

in Huawei eRAN there are 2 different counters for contention resolution:
- L.RA.GrpA.ContResolution
- L.RA.GrpA.ContResolution.PDCCH

Does anyone know what is the difference between normal MSG4 "contention resolution" and PDCCH MSG4 "contention resolution"? In which signalling scenarios contention resolution over PDCCH could be sent?
