    Default Multi-Carrier Balance

    Dears,

If you have Multi-Carriers with different bands
    like U900 & U2100

    1) Are you going to have Blind Ho enabled between both of them or not?
    2) which parameters you recommend to use the balance users between them..

    Dear,
Blind HO is not recommended to balance load between U900 and U2100 because of the difference between Coverage of Co Sector cells. If you do it, Ps drop will increase (abnormal release due to Physical channel fail).

3 options that can help to balance the load :
    - Adjusting tilts and CPICH PWR of Co U900-U2100 cells
    - Adjusting idle mode reselection Parameters of Co U900-U2100 cells: IdleQoffset1sn and IdleQoffse2sn to push traffic to U2100 (recommended)
    - Activating MBDR (Measure-Based Directed Retry) between Co U900-U2100 cells (Not Blind DRD)

    Hope it's useful

    BR,

    BR,
    Very helpful
Please so you use same MaxTxPower settings for U900 & U2100 or different values !

For my case different value : 40W for U900 and 30W for U2100.

try to keep 10% of total pwr to CPICH pwr

If U900 is planned to be launched , at the beginning don't set Blind HO, later when you want to balance traffic ans user use blind HO only for co-sector .

Related to MAxTX power even if you set the same value between U900 and U2100 still the link budget of U2100 give less coverage footprint"frequency factor".
