ZTE HSPA Vs Huawei HSDPA

Recently we upgraded Huawei 3G HSDPA only to ZTE 3G. We are getting H+ and speed rated to 21.1 Mbps from 14.4 Mbps. Really how they achieved the speed with the following observations between Huawei and ZTE

1. 16 QAM/QPSK no change on modulation. Even QPSK observed more in ZTE than Huawei

2. No change in code allocation.

3. Backhaul almost same upto RNC.

And in Phone we are getting H+.

Any explanations pl.
