It would be interesting to share system/features description and especially what's new of iPASOLINK VR4, iPASOLINK VR10 (I see 4K QAM) in relation to their ancestors (iPASOLINK 400, iPASOLINK 1000).

    Thanks

VR Family it's composed by 3 IDUs and 2 ODUs
    IDU VR10 modular 3 U (max 12 modems), 14 universal slots (roadmap for 4096QAM)
IDU VR4 modular 1U (max 5 Modems), 3 universal slots (roadmap for 4096QAM)
IDU VR2 compact 1U (max 2 modems) fix upto 2048QAM (no 4K QAM)

    ODU IAG 6-42GHz
    SiGe technology 2048QAM (4096QAM roadmap)
    available as subband free 7-23Ghz
    112MHz in 18GHz (roadmap)
    max PTx 29dBm -max sysgain 113dbm (56MHz)
    max consumption 30w(6-11GHz), 23W(13-23GHz), 25W (Others freqs)
min consumption with save mode 20W
    1.5kg

    ODU IAP 6 -18GHz
    GaN technology 2048QAM (4096QAM roadmap)
    available as subband free 7-18Ghz
    max PTx 34dBm -max sysgain 118dbm (56MHz)
    max consumption 45W (6-11GHz), 35(13- 23GHz)
min consumption with save mode 25W
    3kg

all ODU in subband free has 2-3dBm deficit in PTx vs normal

open to answer to additional questions

    i hope this help

The ODU sub-band free capability seems very interesting. Do you know other vendors having such capability?
The deficit you mentioned is due to the sub-band free capability?
