OMSTAR having limited time for license. i have update the old post with new attachment.
the license should be working with any version of omstar.
i have tested omstar v5R10 & v5R11

there is no need to change so many things,just modify authentication.dll is enough. By the way,Attachment 38519the expire time can also be changed in this file,too.

when open the soft to display the screen to ask license,open od to attach the thread,set breakpoint.then go on, press f7 or f8 to step into/over,the left time is display in eax whick is hex ,change this hex to any number you like.Good Luck!

usually omstar will use the mac address to generate the esn if it has no administrative rights to access the following registry path :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}]

or it has no administrative rights to access the HDD serial number which come with storage_disk_descriptive

so i guess you need to install omstar as normal user to force it to use mac address and also later u need to run it as normal user
of course all of this is not needed if you manage to get OMStar 10 license for your original esn from the forum

there is a compatibility tool from Microsoft which force specific program to run as normal user.
