FortiPlanner is a graphical Wireless LAN Planning and Post-Deployment Site Survey utility, designed to simplify WLAN planning and deployment of Fortinet FortiAP based wireless networks. The software runs on any standard Microsoft Windows system and uses sophisticated signal propagation ray tracing algorithms to ensure precise planning accuracy.
Once the network has been deployed into production, the FortiPlanner real-time coverage heat-map feature enables administrators to uncover coverage holes and areas of wireless congestion, simplifying the management and troubleshooting of the wireless LAN and ultimately optimizing wireless LAN performance.
