Network Modernization and Swap Planning Process

The scope of this document is to explain BSS or RAN swap procedure and preparation activities from the network planning point of view.
Swap (multi vendor swap or network modernization) is replacing old or other vendor network equipment with new equipment. Optimization which is often done after swapping the equipment is a different project and is not described in details in this document
