Default Overshooting in 3G & LTE

    What is Overshooting ?

Is it same in 3G/LTE ?

How to resolve this issue ?

in DTA we look for level and quality same as 3G and LTE . if have overshooting that's mean incoming interference(impact on quality) also 3G and LTE.

    thank you

Overshooting in LTE is more less the same as in UMTS. This can be identified by pilot (PCI) pollution and bad SINR value in the overshooting area.

    Dear Scorpion

The overshooting concept in 3G/LTE is the overpropagation or overlapping ( cross coverage ) from measurement signal in RSCP (3G) or in RSRP (LTE) from any far server over other near servers on the specific zone. Pollution is similar in 3G, and Internal Interference is similar in LTE.

The process of tuning or optimization for this issue is:
    - Verify the RSCP coverage signal by PSC ( Primary Scrambling Code ) in 3G networks, using Post procesing tool after the walk test or drive test.
    - Verify the RSRP coverage signal by PCI ( Physical Cell Identity ) in LTE networks, using Post procesing tool after the walk test or drive test.

Identify which server is too far or far respect to the other near servers, then, change decreasing the electrical tilt, mecanical tilt or re directioning the azimut from the polluter or ofender in 3G/LTE.

If this changes aren´t enough, try the change decreasing from PCPICH Power and Max Tx Power in 3G, and RS Power and Max Tx Power in LTE.
