Dear Experts,
In event an e******* 2G bts has no internal alarm at all and apart from TRXs not carrying traffic, what other reasons cause LOW TCH AVAILABILTY in e******* 2G bts. Also what reasons lead to Low call setup rates in e******* BSS?
Your technical answers will be highly appreciated and reputation given for solid answers.
thanks all in advance.

LOW TCH AVAILABILTY is permanent, or happeded from time to time? Check transmission first.

You need check the quality of E1. I think E1 have problem about error bits. You can check over 2 steps: 1. Step 1: In OMC (BSC, MSC,...), you need check quality of E1 by some commands: - DTDIPIP=XX; (XX = E1 dedicate for BTS, you can get XX by RXTCP:MOTY=RXOTG;CELL=CellName. RXAPP:MO=RXOTG-YY,...) - When you get XX, you can check quality by DTQUPIP=XX; 2. Step 2: You can call the operator check E1 from BSC to BTS in province where BTS belongs. Moreover, you can check some BTS around site which have problem about internal alarm. BR

If enabled, power saving features causes LOW TCH AVAILABILTY without alarm!
But CSSR have to be OK if this is the reason.Do you have poor CSSR and high call drop?
