I just want to share some news updates from MWC 2015. One of the new technology is E******* Radio System.

Some key points that is quite interesting from the product:
- 50% smaller and lighter
- 50% more energy efficient
- zero floor footprint by using rail system to wall => less acquisition issue

The new E******* Radio System is a modular approach to building and expanding mobile networks that introduces an entirely new system architecture. E******* Radio System is energy efficient to handle the mobile data traffic increases we expect by 2020 at the same energy use levels of today. The new E******* Radio System is an innovative, modular system that enables mobile operators to address these growth opportunities and transform their networks by leveraging a multi-band, multi-layer and multi-standard architecture that can evolve to 5G. The E******* Radio System delivers industry-leading performance on the industry’s smallest site footprint with the lowest energy consumption. It features novel building practices, like one-bolt installation, enabling fast deployment, reducing time-to-revenue while minimizing operating expenses. E*******’s Many-Core baseband Architecture, at the heart of the new system, supports massive multi-core processing with 10X the energy efficiency of commercial, off-the-shelf processors. And the E******* Radio System supports Networks Software 15B to leverage industry-leading performance, including the world’s first software-only baseband upgrade for TDD-FDD Carrier Aggregation.
