    Default Geographical GRID in Actix

    Anybody know how to make Geographical GRID in Actix ?
    like we do in mapinfo or other mapping softwares,
    screenshot is attached from mapinfo.
    grid is the horizontal and vertical lines in black.
    it is done using grid tool in mapinfo.
    can anyone explain creating such grid in Actix.

    thanx Lccengr,
    but still its unresolved.

    im unable to draw these lines, it internally uses grid but its not visible.
    trying myself and waiting for the solution from you experts(especially Actix)

    What's the purpose to create this type of grid?

    its in the process,its required by the customer .
    still we should know all the possibilities.

    Hi,

    if still relevant. You can load MapInfo data into Actix map. You should export .tab as MIF in Mapinfo (Table->export). Then load the file in Actix map as background.

    If Mapinfo *.tab are using some strange coordinate, first change projection by "File -> Save as.." there is option to change coordinates.


    However if you are using *.grid files, the story is completely different. You will have to save file as picture with coordinates and then load into map

    My reputation does not allow downloading files, therefore I cannot see attached screenshots

    There is no way u can see the builtin grid on map (gridlines), However u can import tabs for it !

    I'm using MapInfo 9, there is a tool named "Grid Maker", you may chose the grid corners coordinates, and also spacing between lines.
