Netact 8 upgrade

Hello all,
We updated the Netact to version 8 and saw a change in the CM and DAC (GSM) values.
Does anyone have the latest documents?
In addition it seems the connection to the DB has changed and there are a lot more limitations has anyone encountered this as well? is there another method to access the dB?
Any documents on any of these would be appreciated.
