Hi,

I guess you mean SRB over HSDPA not HSUPA right? The reason is SRB will be mapped on HSDSCH which can not be in SHO and it is normal you will have higher drop due to drops in mobility.

is fractional DPCH activated on your network ? for CPC , if it is you need tuning your parameters

Dear,

You need to know that many UE dont support SRBoEDCH, and cause PS EST FAIL.

Try to know if the fails are related to specified IMSI to confirm this point.

Hi,

I remember I faced this issue before. The problem was with the DRD and in specific with the DRD Fallback. Eg, an HSUPA service in F1 is DRD in F2 with a RB setup message and SRB over HSUPA. In case this DRD fails due to radio, when the UE returns to F1, it is follows SRB over DCH, while network expects SRB over HSUPA. Solution is to supsend SRB over HSUPA for the first 5 sec in case DRD occurs. There is a reserved switch on that, which version do you use?

Yes it is reserved switch 3 for this one and reserved switch23 on R014 that helps turn SRB from DCH to HSUPA faster improving HSUPA user experience.
