DUG Problems

Hi all ,
Anyone have replace several dug´s with LMT B led on ? And no connection with OMT , we have replace a lot of DUG it seems that have a kind of humidity related problems .

Hi,

In my experienced some troubleshooting done, DUG replaced twice.

If you suspected spare DUG is faulty, TRY to swap a working DUG from another site either 1st or 2nd DUG. Lets see if it the-same scenarios.

And try to reload IDB of the RBS

Not spare DUG problem , it occurs in several sites , always the same fault ( LMT B on ( led) and no comm with omt) , after some days the DUG work again ( LAB testing).
It seems that is related to humidity problems . The sites were this happen does not have aircond only forced ventilation, and near sea. Only with DUG this problem appear not with DUW or DUS.

My apology i missed interpret the situations. Hmmmm! its sound strange scenarios.

May be we can collect DUG Logs and BSC ERROR logs, for these site. and lets see for that time if we can interpreter alarms as they recurred.

These situations is quite interesting.

the easiest solution is to format flash card and install a new software package and Reinstall IDB .... this will solve the problem ..... humidity or heat does not cause this problem .. it's a software problem ..........

We already have done that, and does not solve the problem , maybe another release will solve? We are using this SW : GSM-BTS_RUS_SW_G13B_R73F .
