Could somebody please shed some light on Intermodulation Cancelation System (ICS) Repeater and Frequency Shift Repeaters? What are the differences and what is the margin of gain they can provide and other concerns?

you can have channel selective and frequency shift but there is some difference between them .
1- isolation in frequency shift can easily be achieved because using different frequency but in channel selective you have harder obtain and this case you have vertical isolation or horizontal isolation recommended is vertical .
2- higher gain in channel selective than frequency shift.

If I may add,,, FSR has limited channel only compared to band selective ( i think 2 channel only is available in market).. anyone who had tried using a proven vendor outdoor repeater in their network ,, please enlist.. thanks all!

Intermodulation Cancelation System (ICS) Repeater is always the best one.

You can have 3 sectors configuration with a very minimum distance between donor and services antennas while we can't have this with RF or Frequency Shift Repeaters
