    Default LTE Uplink scheduling

    Hi NSN Experts,

Want to know how eNB decides uplink MCS which UE need to use for PUSCH? How this is informed to UE and what factors contributing to decide MCS selection for uplink?

    Thank you.

Hello Rosan, eNodeB transmit MCS info in PDCCH channel. MCS is decided based on UL Channel Quality Conditions. UL Interference is main contributing factor.

Thanks jayk. Is it based on the quality of DMRS or PUCCH/PUSCH?

    hi,

in nsn up to rl60, the uplink quality is evaluated on UL BLER, which is derived from ACK/NACK, that enb is sending on phich

In RL60, UL SINR is measured, and MCS is selected on SINR value
