    Cool Call drop due to High traffic

    Hello dear

    CDR(4.5) of one of my site(3 cell) is very high with very high traffic?? pls suggest me , how can i reduce CDR by parameter tuning or any other way???

    2G ...... you mean other kpi dear??

    But UL level drop is high for cdr...


    Pls suggest me abt solution. ....

    Hi,

    You can check on following things.
    1. Site alarms and hardware(Check the KPIs if it is a sudden or not. If it is sudden most probably due to hardware issue)
    2.Check the TRX wise assignment sucees rate in those cells and UL interference and change the frequencies and check
    3.Try to use a CRO and reduce traffic on those cells if it has congestion. Also check the capacity of neighboring cells. If those cells are congested call can't be hand over and will be dropped.
    4. Check TA and tilt down if necessary.

    Above is correct. Please take note of the existing alarms. Some overlooked at this initial investigation of CDR. Then make a TopN list for call drop and identify each one if due to:
    HO (missing)
    Interference (IF Band =<3 (internal interference) =>3 (external interference)
    A-bis (Transmission Issue)
    Hardware Issue ( Path Imbalance)
    Diversity (Swap Sector) (VSWR)
